TIP OF THE WEEK IN RHEUMATOLOGY


NSAIDs are great medications to use for a short period of time. Please advise your patients about the fact that NSAIDs increase their cardiovascular risk.
 Many patients that use NSAIDs continuously for one year will double their risk of heart attacks and heart failure.
