Did you know that patients with  Rheumatoid arthritis have an increased cardiovascular risk?
YES, patients with rheumatoid arthritis can have a 50% increased risk of dying of a cardiovascular event.
Sometimes excessive use of NSAIDs and corticosteroids can add up to this increased risk.

Encourage your patients to see a rheumatologist early in their disease and get proper treatment!
