Rheumatoid arthritis is not a genetic transmitted disease, but there is a clear predisposition to develop this disease if you have it in the family. If you notice symptoms of inflammatory arthritis ask your patients about their family history or
encourage them to see a rheumatologist early in their disease and get proper treatment!
